Indonesia Day 15 : Back to Yogyakarta - Ullen Sentalu Museum

0830 – After having the breakfast at the Mie Ongklok, there was roadblock by the police after I rode for few distance. I just gave him the motor license and my Malaysia license, then passed. At the half way to Mangelang, we stopped at a park which has a very nice view of two mountains where the park is between these both mountains, one is Mount Sindoro and another one is Mount Sumbing.

We bought stamps to post the postcard at the Wonosobo post office. To deliver to Asia countries, the IDR 8k is enough. The counter sell at the travel agent at Yogyakarta only have IDR 15k stamp.

The view is so nice at the half way. This is Mount Sindoro which is the mountain we saw at the sunrise at Mount Sekunir.

Scoopy and Mount Sumbing

1300 – After 3 hours journey, we finally reached the Ullen Sentalu Museum. We just ate siomay from the motor stall since there is no other food to eat. After bought ticket for IDR 50k/person, we followed English tour guide as it need to follow guide in this museum. There are a lot of painting and collection of Royal family members of Surakarta and Yogyakarta Kingdom.

1430 – After left the museum, we just rode around the kaliurang area. There was not much food choice as the food here is pricy and it is famous of Sate Kambing (Goat) and Sate Kelinci (Rabbit). We didn’t like to eat this kind of meat and rode back to Yogyakarta town while starving.

1800 – After rest at the same guesthouse, we went out dinner at Ayam Penyet Surabaya. Actually, the registered name is Ayam Penyet Soroboyo as the original ayam penyet is from Surabaya. However, the fried chicken is nice and cheap.
