Vietnam Day 13 : Flower Garden - Quan Thiet 168 Restaurant - Pongour Waterfall - Bo Ne 3 Ngon

0800 - Having the breakfast at the guesthouse. The meals and coffee are very cheap!

0900 - Visited the Domaine de marie church.

The architecture is quite unique

1000 - Next is the Flower Garden. The entrance fee is VND40k/Adult. The motorbike parking is VND3. There are so many flowers.

1230 - We had lunch at the Quan Thiet 168 Restaurant. The mango salad with fried fish is so delicious.

We also called a steamed rice (VND15k). The portion is quite large that enough for 3 people. Hence, we felt very full after the lunch.

1400 - We decided to go to the Pongour Waterfall even though there are many waterfalls in Da Lat area. We are going to this waterfall because it is different from others. It is multi-layered waterfall. We departed from Da Lat town at 2:15pm and reached the Pongour Waterfalls entrance at 3:20pm. I rode around 50-70km/h along the journey. Hence, I experienced the vietnamese traffic which like to horn. The lorries and buses keep horn and driving so fast.

The entrance for the Pongour waterfall is VND10k/adult. There is motorbike parking of VND3. After parked the motorbike, walked down the route, then we reach the massive waterfall. However, today waterfall flow is very large and hardly to see the uniqueness of the multi-layered waterfall.

1630 - Rode back to Da Lat. Reached Da Lat at 5:40pm.

1820 - Had the dinner at the Bo Ne 3 Ngon. The meals is quite cheap.

Vietnam Day 12 : Pass by Nha Trang - Dalat : Me Cung Guesthouse - Tue An Hostel - Dalat Railway Station - Lam Vien Square - Da Lat Night Market

0500 - Reached Nha Trang. The bus dropped us at the Nhi Phi Hotel and we didn't see the Sinh Tourist Office. We confirmed again with the bus driver. He said just wait there. Then I walked around, I saw the Sinh Tourist just near to the hotel which just separated by a corner.

Since the sky is still dark, I think we could see the sunrise. Hence, I walked to the beach and wait for it but can't see it as today is still cloudy. The monsoon changing still haven't ended.

Then we waited the bus at the Sinh Tourist. We get a wet tissues and a small water bottle again after checked in. The bus departure time was 7:30am. The bus is a seating bus type.

After bus departed, the route is flat along the way. The bus stop at a restaurant around 9:30am for 30-45 minutes breakfast. But we didn't get off as I continued sleep in the bus. While I was half awake, I heard that bus driver said that there need to wait for the road condition message first before they departed as they think might have landslide. However, the bus departed at 1030am.

After that, the road is hilly and it was raining. Along the way, we saw a lot of waterfall just beside the road.

1200 - Reached Da Lat Sinh Tourist Office. We walked 1.6km to the Me Cung guesthouse that we booked at Booking.com. I was hard to find this guesthouse as it is at a small alley. Once, we reached the guesthouse, the lady just simple clean the room in front of us. We saw the floor is quite dirty. We requested her to sweep it but she refused and said that it was clean! We also saw that the bed is not that clean. She also wanted to keep a passport from two of us which is different from other accommodation way of doing. The motorbike rental is VND150k/day! Hence, we decided to cancel the room. It was lucky that the free cancellation at booking.com is before 2pm.

Then we had our lunch at the Lotteria first while finding another accomodation. We found another double room which is more expensive VND5k per day but the location is far a bit. It is still walkable distance. Once we reached the hostel, the man give us a two double beds with private bathroom room. This room was clean and furniture look new! At last, we can rest comfortably tonight after a 16 hours of bus journey!

We also rented the motorbike from the hostel as the rental is so cheap. One day cost VND100k while half cost VND50k! Hence, we straight away went to attraction place after rented it.

1600 - Reached the Dalat Railway station. Most of the building here look like French style. This railway station even look more unique. There is an entrance fee of VND5k/person. Motorbike parking is VND3k but we parked for free at the outside of the railway station area.

1510 - Then we went to Lam Vien Square. There are two flower shaped architecture building which is nice to take photo. We also shopped at the Big C Market which just underneath of the square.

At night, we went to the night market.
