Indonesia Day 12 : Goa Pindul - Parangritis Beach

0900 – Departed to Goa Pindul. Before 20km to the destination, there is a misleading banner that show the direction for the Goa Pindul which need to turn left. But the direction that show on the GPS was going straight. Then I saw few local people calling us and ask where we were going. Then I felt that it is a scam which need to pay the guiding fee, I decided to go straight. There was so many misleading banners to Goa Pindul along the way. Even there was a local guy riding the bike and chasing me asked where I was going, I just ignored him and followed the direction in GPS.
1000 – Reached Goa Pindul. We managed to buy the local ticket by using the Indonesia word with Malaysia Slang. After stored our bag and shoes in the locket area and wore the life vest and waterproof shoes, a guide brought us and 3 tubes to sit on a lorry. After got off at the destination, there is several step of staircase to go down. Then we’re siting on the tubes and guide pull us towards the cave while gave some explanation in Indonesian. We couldn’t hear clearly as he talked very soft and in Indonesian Sland. In the cave, it’s totally in darkness. We can see the stalagmite and stalactite with the guide’s torchlight. The natural formation inside this cave is quite amazing. At a part of the cave, there is a hole at the top with sunlight shining towards inside the cave which is quite beautiful. Here the guide told us that we can jump into the water from a 1.5m high cliff. Then I jumped. After that, we swam towards the end of the cave which was very near. Then we sit the lorry back to the counter and took our baggage. Then it is the end of this tour.

1400 – Departed to Parangritis Beach as this beach is very famous in Yogyakarta region. After an hour riding in the hilly road, finally we reached. The beach was full of people and was a lot of activities like horse riding. The sand is black, the wave is huge and also the wind is strong. When leaving this beach, we saw there is an entrance but we just went this beach without paying any ticket since we came from a small road.
