After had the local sandwish as the breakfast bought from the bakery near the guesthouse, we rent the motorbike from the guesthouse and the rental is 80,000kip/day. We add 15,000kip fuel to go to the Spoon village and Plain of Jars site 1.

1000 - Departed from hostel. The spoon village located 30km from the Phonsavan. The spoon vaillge also called Ban Napia. The road is mostly flat asphalt road. However, the last few km was unpaved dirt road. When reaching the village, the road become very bumpy. We took around an hour to reach the village. When almost reached the village, we saw there are two houses making the spoon and other souvenir from the war junks. We stopped our motorbike there since the road condition is not suitable for riding as there are many stone on the dirt road. We walked into the village, we didn't see any other makers except a Ban Napia Visitor center which was closed. Then we headed back to the two houses to buy some souvenirs.

1150 - Left the village. The nearest small town didn't have much choice to eat. We rode back to the Phonsavan which took another an hour. We had lunch at a local Vietnamese style restaurant. After that, we were finding for the bus ticket to the Luang Prabang. At the minivan station that we get off yesterday, we didn't see any selling the ticket at the counter which written 110,000kip to Luang Prabang. Then, we rode to the North Bus Station to ask for the bus. The price is 95,000kip and the transport is a small bus. This Northern bus station located 4km away from the town center. The guesthouse receptionist told me that the tuk-tuk fee to the Northern bus station from the town center could cost 15,000kip per person. Since can but the ticket tomorrow, we didn't booked the bus.

1400 - Next destination is Plain Of Jars site 1 which is 10km away from the town center. The entrance fee is 15,000kip/person and motorbike parking fee of 3,000kip. There is free shuttle tram to the site from the ticket counter or the visitor center. There is some information about the jars and UXO in the visitor center. At the Jar site, we took plenty of photos include the largest jar at the hill top.

1700 - Returned back to the town. We went to the minivan station to see again. This time the counter was opened and we booked for tomorrow minivan. After that, we didn't had a proper dinner as we were still full since the large portion of fried rice in lunch time.
