Indochina day 22 : Sorya bus to Phnom Penh - Central Market - Independence Monument

0700 - Checked out from the room and walked to the Golden Star Inn since we can only wait the Sorya free shuttle bus at here as nobody know where is that guesthouse located. Even tough, the time pick up is 7:30 but the van came fetch us at 7:25. Then the van drove to Otres 2 to fetch another two foreigners. We reached the bus station at 7:55 and get on the 8am bus that we had bought its ticket.

Once in the bus, we also got a water bottle and wipe for every person. The bus air-conditioning is working well and it was quite cold. The seat is adjustable and is quite comfortable. Even tough the counter said is a 5 hours journey. It took 6 hours to reach the Central Market of Phnom Penh. This bus also stop half an hour around 10am for break and refreshment.

When we reached Central Markets, there are so many tuk-tuk driver calling us but our booked hostel is just few hundred meters away. We just walked to the hostel. This hostel called Central Tower which is a newly built hostel just 3 months ago by an Australian man. There are three types of dorm. First level is the USD5 dorm which each bed is partition and in air-cond. Second floor is the USD3 dorm which each double decker bed is partition and in air-cond room. While the fourth floor is the USD1 double decker dorm and is fan only. This level room is not yet finished refurbishment. Most of the level still under refurbishment where this Australian guy want to build his dream hostel which has gym, bar and game area.
