Yesterday we booked the minivan to Phonsavan at a travel agency around our hostel. The transport cost 110,000kip and took 8-9 hours to the destination. A tuk-tuk will pick us up at 8:30-9am.
After we checked out the room today morning, our breakfast still not yet served and the tuk-tuk was already here. Hence, we just packed our breakfast and eat on the go. After tuk-tuk picked up all the foreigner, we were brought to the North Bus Station. There is a minivan waiting for us. The driver put our backpack under the seat by forcing our big backpack in. This van is like a courier service again by putting a lot of things. The driver used up every space in the van.

The van departed at 9:30am. After leaving the Vang Vieng town, the scenery along the road is beautiful and amazing. The minivan stopped twice, first at 12pm for toilet break and 2pm for lunch break. We didn't eat any proper meal during the lunch break. We just had the apple since we don't want to eat so full as the road is hilly.

We reached the Phonsavan town at 4pm. Once we get down from the minivan, there are many people holding the plastic sheet showing the guesthouse names. They are like competing to get foreigner ride. I was so confused why they need to compete each other as they are holding the same guesthouse names. Since we didn't booked any guesthouse, we just walked away. After 5 minutes walk, we reached the Nice guesthouse. There are room for us and cost 80,000kip. We were lucky there is still have room as this guesthouse on tripadvisor review is quite good. However, it doesn't show in Booking.com and it was fully booked in Agoda.

After left the backpack, we visited the UXO survisor center since it was still early for dinner. This center shown many UXO survivor story. It also selling the thing that help the UXO survivor and UXO contaminated village get some earning since their land is so dangerous. There are also an half hour documentary video about this survivor center. We donated some money after that.

Then, we had dinner at the Nisha restaurant, an indian restaurant. It is nice to have curry while in the cold night.
