Found this very cheap banh mi! |
0930 - When I just came back from buying some food to eat, the bus came and everyone rush to get on to the bus. The bus departed.
1200 - The bus reached Da Nang. The bus stopped at the street 3/2 where it is the exact street that the hotel lady wrote. We booked our hostel near this road but is 2.2km. Hence, we just walked and find this hostel. The hostel that we booked was Danang Tomotachi Hostel. A single dorm for a day is USD5.
After that, we walked to find the special dished in Danang which is Mi Quang. Even tough there is Mi Quang Restaurant just beside of the hostel. But this look quite expensive. Hence, we walked to the Mi Quang Stall that I found online. This stall look local and cheap. A normal Mi only cost VND25k!

After lunch, we walked around the area to find the cheap motorbike rental as the motorbike rental by our hostel cost VND150k per day. However, we couldn't find any cheaper. We just rented the motorbike for half day.
Then we headed to the Nun Nuoc Beach. When we reached there, there is no road to the beach. The beach is covered by the construction or resort. Then we just abandoned this attraction. Next, we wanted to the Lady Buddha (Guam Em). I found it was located at the Linh Ung Pagoda which is located at the Marble Mountain.

1600 - When we reached the Marble Mountain, we saw two elevators to the pagoda. But there is another way up which climbing the staircase. The entrance ticket to the mountain is VND40k/person. The one way elevator cost VND15k/person. When we reached the Linh ung Pagoda, we couldn't see any big lady buddha statue. Then we just walked around the mountains. There are caves and many temples. We even climbed to the highest peak but still couldn't see the big statue. However, the view from the highest peak is quite amazing as we can see the city, beach and sea.

While getting down back to the motorbike, I just found that there is another Linh Ung Pagoda which is located northeast of Danang. Hence, we just headed there but didn't get in to the Pagoda as it was already dark. But looking at the buddha in near distance is really huge.

1900 - Then we went back to the hostel area to find another special dish in Danang called Banh Xeo. The famous restaurant for this dish is called Banh Xeo Ba Duong which is located in the small alley. At the restaurant, we see how other local people eat and learned it. It was quite nice and special.

Near to the 9pm, we walked onto the bridge and wait for the show. When the bridge getting quite as the bridge traffic will be closed, the fire show started. The fire blast few times for east set. There are two set of fire blast and 3 sets of water splash. When water splash, the water dropped at our area as there is wind and blow towards our direction. The people in out area run like someone is attacking the crowd so as to avoid the "rain".
