Philippines Day 20 Banaue : Jeepney to Banaue Main Viewpoint and other viewpoints – Overnight bus to Manila

0800 - It is raining heavily in the early morning. We didn’t want to wake up as there is no activity that we can do in the raining day. After having the bread as breakfast, we planned to go to the museum since it is the only indoor activity here.

While walking half way to the museum, we saw that there is a jeepney to the Bontoc. We knew that there is not much jeepney departed from Banaue to the north direction which will pass through the Banaue main view point. Hence, we decided to take the jeepney to the main view point even tough it was still raining (PHP50/person).

1020 – After 15 minutes drive, we reached the Main view point but there are too foggy. We didn’t see anything. We decided to just walk along the shop around the main viewpoint while waiting the foggy to disappear. We had some snack in a shop. After awhile, the fog had been fly away and we managed to see the nice view of the Banaue rice terrance. The view is breathtaking! After took enough photo, we walked down towards the Banaue center as there are many viewpoints along the road. Each viewpoint is different view of the Banaue rice terrance. Walking down towards the Banaue center is only 5km which is walkable distance while can enjoy the scenery along the Banaue rice terrance.

As we reached the museum, there is a entrance fee of PHP50/person. This museum seem like nothing to see and there are nobody visiting the museum. The people in charge there seem like wanted to close the museum early. Hence, we didn’t visit the museum.
