Taiwan Day 12 Taipei : 華山文創園區 HuaShan Cultural Park - 中正紀念堂 Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall - 寧夏夜市 NingXia Night Market

Today is the last day in Taipei, we just had a short tour around the Taipei city.

First, we went to the famous breakfast stall, 阜杭豆漿 Fuhang Soy Bean at Hua Shan.

Then I ordered the soy bean, TWD 30. Taste better than the first stall that we ate.

Next : HuaShan Cultural Park. This place used to be the beer factory. It stop operation as it had environmental issue and is used for cultural and art exhibition. Inside also have few of cafe and souvenir shop.

Next : Chiang Kai-shek memorial Hall. Free admission. Walkable distance from Hua Shan.
There are a lot exhibition below the memorial hall.

Then, the hall beside exhibited about the Chiang Kai-shek

The food ate by Mr. Chiang. The youtiao soup look so nice.

Then walked to the memorial hall and wait for the changing of the honor guards. We watched the last session which include lowering the flag.

Most part of the outside of the memorial hall is under renovation.

At liberty square

 Next, we walked to the Taipei Main Station to buy the train ticket to Hualien that I had booked.

Taiwan National day is on 10th October. Taiwan is peak season now.

Walk half way, bought this rice onigiri to avoid hungry.

The original taste is nice, cheap and large portion.

Bought the ticket by using the machine kiosk. We had to buy two times seat to Hualien for the same train.

Next : NingXia Night Market. From the Taipei Main Station, walk to the ZhongShan MRT station via the ZhongShan underground shopping street. Then exit at the exit 4 and walked few minutes. (Exit 5 cannot go out which is only for those that are in the transit area. We was told this by an old man when discussing how to go there at a map in the shopping street.)

NingXia Night Market is quite short compare to other. The walk way in the middle is very narrow.

First try the 刈包 GuaBao, TWD 45. The bun wrapped with the fatty pork meat and vege. But we choose to call non-fatty meat.

TWD 120 each. Eat with original sauce is nicer than the pepper garlic powder.

In taiwan night market, we saw a lot of this kind entertainment. It is so usual that any age any gender of local people like to play.

Sad thing : I lost my ticket card which has around TWD 380 inside. I didn't know when it got lost. Just remember next time don't top up so much >.< Hope that the card can help the needy one.
