Philippines Day 7 : Coron Tour A by JY Travel and Tours

0800 – After had the breakfast and prepared the things, we waited the person to come and fetch us. Around 8:25am, we were called by two guys that is from the Dream Travel and Tour. We sit on their tricycles to the travel agent rental shop which is near the Coron public market. After reached there, we took the mask, snorkel and fins that we had paid. After that a guy brought us to the boat, this boat is actually the JY Travel and Tour boat. I think this travel agent is the largest in the Coron. I also expected that the Dream travel agent will combine the tour with other travel agent so as not to just two people going to the tour which is not economical for them. Today the weather was very sunny which is good for us.

0900 – In the boat, we waited for other people. The boat is connected in series that the boat at behind is the same agent but different tour. The boat behind also departed first. At last, this boat tour had total of 6 people including us. The other 4 person were germens old husband and wife and two Taiwan middle age guys. After awhile, another person which is our tour guide brief about the tour. I asked so many question regarding which destination we will go before the boat departed to make sure the place that I wanted to go is include in this tour.

0920 – Boat departed to the first destination which is the most famous place in Coron: Kayangan Lake. This journey took 45 minutes.

1000 – Got on the Kayangan lake landing area in Coron Island. We had to climb up staircase and then down to reach this lake. At the top point, there is a viewing platform to view the most famous view in Coron. This platform need to queue to take the photos. After we reached the lake, we took several photos before went into the lake. This lake is really clear as can see different rock formation and needle fish.

1100 – Left the Kayangan Lake and departed to Green Lagoon which took around 20 minutes boat ride. At this lagoon, nothing special except the green colour. We just took few photos and swam for a while. Then called the boatman to leave the place.

1200 – After boat ride for half an hour, we reached the Sunset beach which was our lunch place in the cottage. The lunch include the big tuna fish, fried chicken wing, cucumber salad, banana and rice. The water is just plain water. After lunch, we walked at the beach and into the sea water. We could see sea urchin and starfish. After that, we snorkelled towards the deeper place but there are so many seaweed that hard to go through. There are plenty of fishs and coral that we even see the blue coral.

1330 – Departed to the last destination CYC beach which took around half hour. CYC is stand for Coron Youth Club. The CYC beach is also near with the coral garden as mostly the boat go to the destination for two spot. However, it is different from the coral garden location that I see from my offline map. After the boat stopped, we snorkelled towards the coral garden direction. After a few distance of almost dead corals, we saw many beautiful corals in a long shape around the CYC island. The corals have any colors and shape. But there are too many sea urchin which need to be careful. We snorkelled there for around 45 minutes and I felt satisfy.

1500 – Departed back to the Coron Public Market which took 45 minutes. After we returned the fins, snorkel and mask at the Dream Travel and Tours, we just know that this tour package didn’t include the drop off. So we just walked back from the public market and see around the public market.

1800 – After bathed, we walked out to find the dinner. After walked for an hour, we didn’t see any cheap meal to eat. All those restaurant meal are very expensive to us. There is not much local food to eat also. So we decided to buy some siomai and eat with cup noodles as dinner. Then rest at room since I still not felling well.
