Indonesia Day 25 : Bali - Ayung River Water Rafting - Erlangga Shop

Yesterday night after back from snorkeling, we went to book the water rafting at the first guesthouse that we stayed since it was the cheapest tour that we could find which is IDR 250k/person.
We reached this guesthouse to wait for the van at 8am as the time they said to me. The van only come at 9am. We feel so tired as we sleep very less.

After reach the rafting company which was Payung Rafting, we wore the life vest and helmets and kept our things in the locker. Then we have to sit on the truck to the rivers. Before getting to the river, we had to walk down few hundreds of staircase to reach there which was quite tiring.
Our guide, Badung, arranged 6 persons to sit in a raft and briefed about how to raft and safety. After we started rafting, we just listened to what Badung given like “powered forward”, “backward”, “Bombom”, “Stop”(which need to put the rafting stick vertically between the legs with paddle at the top.

After rafting awhile, Badung said that we should walked at the river side since this part of the river is quite dangerous. After getting back to raft, we continued the journey. There were a lot of company do the water rafting at Ayung river. Badung keep saying that other company raft for around an hour while his company had to raft for two hour which means it is quite worth to us but tired a bit.
Along the Ayung river, the sceneries were amazing especially the rock craving at the river side. After rafted for more than an hour, Badung stopped us at snack stall at the river side. After we got down from the raft, there was a lady carrying a basket full of soft drinks and beers. Badung told us to take one like it was free. We just took one without asking anything. Drinking half way, I thinking that the drinks were not included in the package. Then I stopped taking another drinks after finished it. After rest for awhile, we received the receipt from the lady and we were shocked as the price is so expensive that one Bintang beer cost IDR 40k and pocari sweat can cost IDR 30k! Then we become no mood as we’re like cheated for the drink. After that, we continued the journey with using less energy for rafting and more on viewing the scenery.

Another half hour rafting, we reached the end. Then sitting the truck back to the shop. After we reached, there was a lot of people bathing. While waiting my dear to finish bathing, I went to take the buffet lunch first which is included. After my dear had come out, I bathed along in the toilet which didn’t have any people to squeeze the toilet. After bathing, I continue to take the food and eat as many as I can. After paid for the drinks, we sit the can back to the guesthouse.

After rest for awhile, we rode to Denpasar. This time was going to Erlangga 2 which a huge souvenir shop. My dear shopped inside for a long time while I just some souvenir and food only. For dinner, we’re just having some snack since we had eat so many in lunch.
